Privacy Policy

1. Basic Policy

The Company will respect and comply with laws, regulations, and the social order related to the protection of personal information and will strive to properly handle and protect personal information.

2. Acquisition, Use, and Provision of Personal Information

The Company will obtain personal information by the appropriate means and disclose, notify, or specify the purpose of using the information and will not handle personal information beyond the scope of such purpose without the consent of the person concerned. The Company will also follow the procedures prescribed by laws and regulations when providing, disclosing, or otherwise making personal information available to third parties.

3. Purposes of Using Personal Information

The Company will use personal information that it obtains (names, addresses, dates of birth, names of school and place of employment, telephone numbers, email addresses, etc.) for the following purposes:

  1. To provide various services relating to accommodation (including communication, sending of materials, arrangements, and billing)
  2. To provide all kinds of information about the various products, services, special offers, events, and other matters
  3. To analyze customer trends for the provision of the information and services stated in the above (1) and (2), and to make research and analysis for product development
  4. To recruit and screen employees and other personnel of the Company
    To provide personal information to third parties within the limits necessary for achieving the purposes of use listed in the above (1), (2), (3), and (4)

4. Third Party Provision of Personal Information

Of the personal information obtained by the Company, the names, addresses and other needed information items about the persons concerned and their family members may be provided in writing, by post, telephone, fax, e-mail, advertising medium, or other means, under laws and regulations, or to third parties who are needed for achieving the purpose of use. Such provision of information will be discontinued at the request of the person concerned, except where the personal information is acquired by the Company individually obtaining the consent of the person concerned regarding the third-party provision of the information.

5. Safety Management Measures for Personal Information

The Company will manage personal information in its possession properly and carefully and will take the necessary and proper safety management precautions to prevent unauthorized access to, loss, falsification, leakage, and other accidents involving personal information.

  1. When accommodation is requested without following these general conditions
  2. When all rooms are occupied with no rooms available
  3. When it is found that a guest is likely to engage in an act in connection with lodging that violates laws and regulations, public order, or good morals
  4. When it is clearly found that a guest has an infectious disease
  5. When a guest is intoxicated or it is otherwise found that a guest is likely to be an extreme nuisance to other guests, or a guest has engaged in speech and behavior that cause an extreme nuisance to other guests
  6. When a guest is found to be influenced by an organized crime group, organized crime group member, body or person affiliated with an organized crime group, or any other category of antisocial forces
  7. When a guest makes violent demands against the hotel or its employees
  8. When a burden exceeding reasonable limits is demanded by a guest in connection with lodging
  9. When it is impossible to provide accommodations due to a natural disaster, failure of equipment, or other unavoidable reason

6. Outsourcing the Handling of Personal Information

The Company may outsource the handling of personal information in its possession. In this case, the Company will select a person in charge taking sufficient measures for the protection of personal information and will make the necessary and adequate supervision over the outsourcing contractor.

7. Procedure for Disclosure and Correction of Personal Information

The Company will respond to any request of the person concerned regarding personal information in its possession, including disclosure, correction, and discontinuation of using the information, without delay according to a separate procedure.
